What is Chimera?

Chimera is an interdisciplinary research area on cultural heritage, memory and identity. It brings together academic staff, postdoctoral research fellows and doctoral students working in various disciplines across the University of Manchester.

What do we do?

Chimera brings together a number of leading international scholars in cultural heritage, identity and memory research.

Chimera staff help run a range of MA Programmes with cultural heritage links.

Chimera members are open to proposals from students who wish to conduct PhD research in the field of cultural heritage.
