Do you conduct research in neurodegenerative diseases?

(16 April 2015)

An integrated cross-Faculty network is being developed to coordinate, focus and optimise dementia and neurodegenerative disease research (such as CJD, MND, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s, MS, cortisobasal degeneration and progressive supranuclear palsy).

The aim of Dementia@Manchester is to build the reputation of the University as a leader in dementia research nationally and internationally, and to enable the University to become dementia friendly, enhancing its social responsibility agenda. In order to do this a multidisciplinary dementia research strategy, informed and underpinned by the involvement of people living with dementia and their support networks is being developed.

It is imperative that the University captures an accurate snapshot of the breadth of dementia and neurodegenerative research being conducted across the University.

If you are carrying our research in this field please contact Margaret Stark, Project Manager for Dementia@Manchester on Margaret.stark@manchester.ac.uk.
