The way you buy IT equipment has changed.

The budget for IT equipment spend, excluding software, has now been consolidated and is owned by the Directorate of IT Services. This means that if you wish to purchase IT equipment you will have to contact IT Services rather than your local school requisitioner.
For the purchase of any desktop PC, laptop PC, tablet or printer, a request must be sent via the 'Purchasing IT Equipment' request form in Support Centre Online. A specialist team in IT Services will receive the request and work with you to ensure fit and assure supportability, sustainability and compatibility with the University’s IT estate.
For other IT items, such as paper, ink cartridges and external hard drives, you should continue to contact your local school requisitioner, and authorisation will remain unchanged.
