All colleagues encouraged to take part in annual Stonewall survey
(1 August 2016)
All staff are encouraged to complete a short survey in order to participate in the annual Stonewall Workplace Equality Index, which is managed through the University’s Equality and Diversity Team. The survey will only take a few minutes to complete.
The Workplace Equality Index is a powerful evidence-based benchmarking tool used by employers to assess their achievements and progress on LGBT inclusion in the workplace. The University is currently fifth in the UK index of education organisations.
Stonewall ensures that all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, here and abroad, know they are not alone. It partners with organisations and helps create real change for the better. Stonewall supports those who can’t yet be themselves, and works to ensure individuals can reach their full potential.
- Take part in the short survey – the University’s four-digit code is 1693.
