Changes to Humanities eNews and HumNet
(29 January 2015)
In response to analytics and your feedback, we have made a number of changes over the last couple of months to make your experience better.
Changes to publication dates and deadlines
To provide you with a consistent delivery of Humanities eNews, with a set publication day which is easier to remember, we will now be distributing eNews on the first and third Monday of the month, apart from bank holidays when it will be sent on the next working day. To complement this we have also made the deadlines for each issue easier to remember. If you wish to submit a story to us our deadlines are now the second and last Monday of the month. Please send to email@example.com.
HumNet Recent News
To ensure you see all the news published on HumNet, the articles in Humanities eNews now take you to the HumNet website. In the ‘Recent News’ section of the website you can read articles from Humanities eNews, as well as other articles related to the Faculty. Two weeks after the publication of Humanities eNews articles in the ‘Recent News’ section, they will be moved to the ‘News Archive’. A link to the relevant ‘News Archive’ can be found in each issue of Humanities eNews.
The weekly Forthcoming Events and Seminars email has now stopped and has been replaced with a dedicated events listing, on HumNet. Staff who wish to promote an event can find out more in the how to submit events guide. Please note events are not advertised through Humanities eNews.
