Opportunity for funding for Social Responsibility in the Curriculum
(13 February 2015)
The Faculty of Humanities has recently awarded funding to applicants to the Social Responsibility in the Curriculum competition to enable them to include a specific social responsibility module to their course for 2015-16.
In order to maximise this opportunity and encourage as much participation as possible, we are trialing a change to the criteria and have, therefore, extended the deadline for further applications until Friday, 20 March 2015. We now welcome applications from any undergraduate course, at levels one, two or three, and also from postgraduate taught programmes.
The funding should help develop an existing module or incorporate a social responsibility emphasis in a new module. The aim is for students to be encouraged to think how their enthusiasm for their subject can communicate, connect or be relevant beyond the immediate demands of their course.
Please see the Humnet Social Responsibility pages for further information and an application form, or speak to Claire Lloyd for more details.
The deadline for applications is 20 March 2015 and decisions will be communicated during April 2015.
