UniForum benchmarking study
(9 July 2015)
Managers from across the University will be asked to complete an online survey this month as part of a cost benchmarking project to identify how activities across the institution are resourced and deployed.
This is a strategically important piece of work for the University, which will help ensure that we are prepared to meet current challenges and be ready to face the future by making informed choices about future investment and building future capabilities to be competitive.
It is an opportunity to benchmark against our nearest UK competitors in the Russell Group (with results adjusted for scale) and work in a collegiate way across the sector.
Several hundred managers from across PSS, Library and Cultural Institutions, identified by HR Services, will be required to complete an Activity Survey over the summer period. This will be anonymous and should be completed by Monday, 24 August.
The project is being led by Australian company Cubane, and is being co-ordinated at the University by Helen Barton, Director of Planning. Paul Oates, from the Change Management and Process Improvement Team, is Project Manager.
