Take part in micropoem competition
(3 July 2016)
The Centre for New Writing at the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures (SALC), has launched its #micropoem16 competition on the theme of Science.
Faculty staff can join students and members of the public in the competition, part of the University’s support of the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF). ESOF brings together over 4,500 leading thinkers, innovators, policy makers, journalists and educators from more than 90 countries, to discuss current and future breakthroughs in contemporary science.
To take part, tweet a micropoem on the theme of ‘Science’, with the hashtag #micropoem16 by 11 July 2016. Winning poets could be awarded Centre for New Writing event tickets, book vouchers or a mini iPad.
