Humanities excels in Students' Union Teaching Awards

At this year’s The University of Manchester Students’ Union Teaching Awards, the Faculty of Humanities took home eight of the awards. Humanities won seven of the twelve open categories, including Most Inspiring Lecturer and Funniest Lecturer.

Best Lecturer: Humanities
Laurel Mackenzie - Lecturer in English Linguistics, SALC


Most Inspiring Lecturer 
Georg Christ - Lecturer in Medieval & Early Modern History,SALC


Mental Health Champion 
Melanie Giles - Senior Lecturer in Archaeology, SALC


Best Supervision (PGT)
Alex Samely- Professor of Jewish Thought, SALC


Funniest Lecturer 
Stanley Blue – Lecturer in Sociology, SoSS


Best E-Learning Experience 
Hannah Cobb - Lecturer in Archaeology, SALC


The Award for Fantastic Feedback
Malka Hodgson - Language Tutor: Hebrew, SALC


Best Postgraduate that Teaches
Aaron Wilson - Teaching Assistant (Philosophy), SoSS
