University History and Heritage launch new tours
(11 June 2015)
Humanities staff are invited to join the new History and Heritage walking tours which run on alternating Saturdays and Wednesdays around campus.
The hour-long tours, which run from 12-1pm on Wednesdays and 1-2pm on Saturdays, explore the University’s origins and development, major buildings and sites of discovery, as well as discussing notable individuals from the University’s past. The tours, which run throughout the summer, are free to staff and the general public though booking is required.
The new programme can be booked online on the History and heritage website.
Bespoke tours for groups of visitors, students or staff are also available and can be booked by emailing History and Heritage.
If you are unable to take part in a tour you can now use the Layar app to find out about the historic buildings on our campus. Find out more on the guided tours website.
