Sustainability Challenge 2016 staff volunteers needed
(16 June 2016)
The Sustainability Challenge is part of the University’s Ethical Grand Challenges programme and from September 2016 will be a core element of the University’s Welcome programme. The aim is to deliver it to all 8,000 first-year undergraduate students.
All members of staff (academic and PSS) are invited to take on a number of roles:
- facilitators to work directly with groups of students taking part in the Challenge;
- event staff to direct students to rooms and help with the running of the event;
- IT support staff to provide additional AV support alongside building technicians (some IT knowledge required, but a briefing will be provided).
The Sustainability Challenge will take place in the morning and afternoon on Tuesday 20 September in nine buildings across the Oxford Road campus.
