Student surveys: last push before Easter
(13 March 2015)
The National Student Survey (NSS), Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) and the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) are all still currently open. Staff from across the Faculty are encouraged to remind students to fill their survey in before the Easter break.
The PTES and PRES provide the University with important information which help us improve courses, facilities and the overall student experience. The NSS is also hugely important as student satisfaction rankings are often very influential of the choices of prospective students.
During week five of PTES, the School of Social Sciences did extremely well in boosting their numbers with response rates jumping from 19.1% to 34.6%, the highest on campus figure to date.
Students will have received a personal link to the PTES and PRES by email and can also access it through My Manchester. If students are having difficulties accessing the questionnaire please encourage them to contact: firstname.lastname@example.org. Students wishing to complete the NSS simply need to log onto the NSS website.
The deadlines for the surveys are as follows:
- NSS: Final Year Undergraduates: 30 April 2015
- PTES: Postgraduate taught: 30 April 2015
- PRES: Postgraduate researchers: 14 May 2015
