Humanities staff and students shortlisted for 'Making a Difference' awards
(15 March 2016)
Twelve staff and eight student projects in the Faculty of Humanities have been nominated for the annual Social Responsibility awards, which recognise the outstanding achievements of our staff and students, and celebrate how they are making a difference. With nominees ranging from Dr Jenna Ashton’s (School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, SALC) work with Digital Women’s Archive North, to the School of Law’s Legal Advice Centre, offering pro bono legal advice to local people, work from across the Faculty will be showcased at the event.
As well as recognising outstanding achievements, the awards provide an opportunity to share ideas and best practice about social responsibility initiatives, and encourage others to get involved.
