NSS and PTES – 30 April closure
(31 March 2016)
Staff are asked to give a final push to encourage students to complete the National Student Survey (NSS – for final-year undergraduates) and Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES – for postgraduate taught students, particularly when students return on 11 April following the Easter break.
The National Student Survey is a UK-wide survey, run by IPSOS MORI, to find out final-year undergraduate students’ opinions on their time at University. Externally, results are used to compile university league tables and to inform future students' choice of university / course via Key Information Sets (KIS). Internally, they are used to make improvements to the student experience as part of strategic planning processes.
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey is run by the University, and its results help inform improvements to the postgraduate taught courses.
