The new University research information system, Pure, is now live

(4 May 2016)

Pure, the University's new research information system has gone live. This is the system that has replaced eScholar and will eventually replace the Research Management System (RMS).

Please read the go-live article on StaffNet and a message from Professor Chris Taylor (Academic Project Sponsor) with further information on how to get started.

A series of hands-on training sessions have been set up to help you access the system, including how to deposit publications. Sessions can be booked via StaffNet

Users can access the Pure system via the Pure website using their University username and password.

Pure will be available to view publications and projects, create CVs, link related content and register for and manage ORCIDs.

Support for users is available in a range of formats including –

  • Training guides and How Do I? questions on the Pure Support website
  • By calling telephone support on extension x51810 (9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday)
  • By creating a support ticket via the IT Support Centre
  • By attending a hands-on training session (For researchers and RSS staff)

Two further roll-outs are planned for June and August this year and more details will be available on StaffNet in the coming months.
