Third call for funding for collaboration with researchers at FAPESP
(13 May 2016)
Following two successful calls in 2015 and 2015, Fundaco de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado do São Paulo (FAPESP) and The University of Manchester have launched a further call with the objective of implementing scientific and technological cooperation between researchers from The University of Manchester and the State of São Paulo, Brazil, through the funding of joint research projects.
FAPESP will provide funding of up to the equivalent of £10,000 per proposal per year to the São Paulo partner, and the University of Manchester will provide funding of up to £10,000 per proposal per year, for the duration of the grant to cover research-related mobility expenses. Please note that the funding provided by The University of Manchester must be sourced via internal Faculty funds.
Now called SPRINT (São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration), the call is open to staff who are currently collaborating with, or wish to collaborate with, researchers in the State of São Paulo.
The closing date for applications is 25 July 2016 and applicants will be advised of the outcome of their proposals after 27 October 2016. Full details and further guidance can be viewed on the University’s Funding Opportunities webpage.
