Manchester: top five UK institution for graduates

(18 November 2015)

The University of Manchester is one of the top five institutions in the UK for graduates according to the latest Global Employability University Rankings.

The Times Higher Education survey ranked the University 24th internationally and 5th amongst UK universities for graduates. This is an improvement on last year when the University was ranked 25th.

The survey was carried out by French Human Resources consulting group, Emerging Associates and asked recruiters and managing directors from over 20 countries to detail the ideal attributes of graduates.

These results are especially encouraging as Manchester was placed above rivals such as University College London and Kings College London. The other four UK institutions to feature in the top 25 were: Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and Edinburgh.

The survey further bolsters the Universities reputation as world-renowned centre for excellence.
