The People's History Museum can help with your research

The People’s History Museum is keen to develop their links with academic colleagues and is running a Museums and Research Network Meeting offering an opportunity for people to learn more about how their collections can be used within teaching and research. The first meeting is taking place on Wednesday, 1 October 2014 from 2pm at the People’s History Museum. Further details and registration can be found here.
The People’s History Museum holds a variety of different collections particularly relevant to subjects within Humanities including the largest collection of political material in Britain, spanning working people’s demand for a better world to the organisations that represented them, objects related to the fight for the vote, materials relating to organisations including the Department for Work and Pensions, the Trades Union Congress and The Co-operative Group. In addition the museum collects contemporary material including one of the largest collections related to LGBTQ history.
