Research funding available for academic and library staff
(4 October 2016)
The John Rylands Research Institute has announced its latest Seedcorn call.
Seedcorn funding awards are open to all academic and Library staff at the University, who can apply for up to £5,000 to conduct a research project.
The proposed activity must be related to one of the John Rylands Research Institute collection priorities, engage researchers and prompt collaboration across disciplines and faculties, and lead to a larger project with the potential to attract grant funding.
Applications are particularly welcome in:
- revolutions in print;
- science and medicine;
- world literatures;
- areas with potential for high-profile publication.
The deadline for applications is 28 October 2016.
