Changes within the Faculty Senior Management Team

The Director of Faculty Operations, Russell Ashworth, has been appointed to the role of Programme Director for a new University-wide Programme Board which is being set up to manage strategic projects and activities across the University. The Board will be led by Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Colin Bailey. Recruitment to the Humanities Director of Faculty Operations role will begin immediately. In the meantime, Russell will begin to take on some activities associated with his new role but will also continue in his current post, supporting the Faculty, until a replacement is appointed.
Humanities Director of Faculty Finance, Ian Rodd, is moving to the Faculty of Science and Engineering as Head of Faculty Finance. Philippa Woods has been appointed as Interim Head of Faculty Finance and will support the Faculty until a permanent appointment is made.
The Head of the School of Environment, Education and Development, Professor Tim Allott, is now in the final year of his three year term and will step down as Head of School in July 2017. The recruitment process to identify a replacement will begin shortly.
