Become an Equality Challenge Unit panellist

The Equality Challenge Unit are looking for potential panellists from the Faculty of Humanities to assess applications to the Athena SWAN Charter and the Race Equality Charter scheme. The Unit are looking for applications from both PSS and Academic staff who work in the Higher Education sector.
The University has a history of working with the Equality Challenge Unit; recently receiving the new Race Equality Charter award, making it one of only eight universities in the UK to do so. The Athena SWAN Charter has been running for a number of years and seeks to promote gender equality in employment and research Higher Education. The scheme was rolled out to the arts and humanities this year with both Professor Helen Beebee, from the School of Social Sciences, and Sir Cary Cooper, from Manchester Business School, being appointed patrons.
Staff are encouraged to submit their interest by the end of September as panels are being compiled from October.
