Ethical review training sessions for PGR supervisors
(4 September 2016)
This month the University will be launching a new online system for ethical review. All members of staff who supervise PGR students are invited to attend one of two information sessions which will explain the functionalities of the new system and, specifically, how those functionalities will impact on the ethics review process. The dates/times of these sessions are:
- 5 September 2pm-4pm: Williamson 2.05;
- 27 September 10am-12pm: TBC.
The sessions will feature a live demonstration of the system from the perspective of a Supervisor (including how to prepare an ethics application with students and provide a signature) as well as give them the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the new system or how their role will interact with others from their Division/School.
All supervisors are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions, as they are the only opportunities to see a live demonstration of the system with face-to-face training. PDF training guides and a library of instructional videos will also be provided to all supervisors should they be unable to attend either of these sessions.
- To attend one of the sessions please contact Genevieve Pridham.
