Humanities entries shortlisted in Making a Difference Awards
(24 March 2017)
Congratulations to everyone involved in the Humanities entries shortlisted in the Making a Difference Awards. Each School has been recognised in the shortlist.
The Making a Difference Awards recognise and celebrate the many different types of social responsibility achievements of the University’s academic and professional support staff, students and alumni.
This year over 130 entries were submitted, across nine categories including: inspiring communities; benefit to society through research; environmental sustainability and contribution to widening participation.
All shortlisted entries will be invited to the award ceremony on 11 May, where the overall winners will be announced and our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, will present entrants with their award.
Colleagues and students who have been highly commended will receive a certificate after the Awards ceremony on 11 May.
- You can read the full list of shortlisted entries on the Social Responsibility web pages.
You will be able to read more about the shortlisted projects in eNews over the coming weeks as we start to run a series of features about the interesting projects and activities from Humanities.
