Have you had your say in the Staff Survey?
(31 March 2017)
We’re half way through the Staff Survey 2017 and 56% of staff across the University have now had their say.
There is still time to fill in the survey so please take the opportunity to tell us what you think about working at the University before Tuesday, 18 April.
Up to 30 March, 52% of Humanities staff have responded. This breaks down to the following response rates:
44% Faculty Office
48% School of Environment, Education and Development
51% School of Arts, Languages and Cultures
51% School of Law
51% School of Social Sciences
54% Alliance Manchester Business School
When you complete your Staff Survey, you are given the option to choose one of three nominated charities to benefit from a £1 donation for every survey completed. All three charities are local to the University. You can watch a short video by Dr Julian Skyrme about the charitable donations to help you make your decision.
Also, each Friday, three people who have completed the survey will be picked in the prize draw. Two people will win a £250 voucher towards a mini break and one person will win a £50 John Lewis voucher. In the draw on Friday 24 March, Dr Jill McCarthy from the Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) won the £50 John Lewis Voucher.
In the draw this week Moyra James, also from AMBS, won a £250 voucher. She decided to pick a £250 Red Letter Days Experience voucher, for a John Lewis Pampering Shopping Experience. Moyra said: "I'm so glad I filled in the Staff Survey the first week it was launched - as this meant I was entered into the prize draw every week, increasing my chances of winning."
Remember, the survey is managed by an external company, so it is completely anonymous.
