Get involved in our new Community Festival
(4 May 2017)
During the University’s new Community Festival, being held on Saturday, 17 June from 11am-3pm, the Martin Harris Centre and Manchester Museum will be opening their doors to our local communities to share with them our research, culture and facilities. Other venues involved in the festival include Coupland Street, University Place and the Alan Turing Building.
It will be a fun-filled day of hands-on activities including live experiments, interactive demonstrations, musical and dramatic performances, behind the scenes tours, workshops and much, much more!
If you’d rather take part in the running of the event and can spare at least four hours on the day, you could become a Community Festival Ambassador and provide a friendly, positive and knowledgeable welcome to all the visitors.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to take part, and please remember to speak to your line manager about the policy and arrangements for working at weekends.
