Come to our first ever Community Festival!
(15 June 2017)
The Faculty of Humanities is playing its part in the University’s first Community Festival, which on Saturday 17 June will be welcoming people to the Manchester Museum, Martin Harris Centre, Confucius Institute and Alan Turing Building from 11am until 3pm.
Local people, plus staff and students, are invited to the University to discover the variety of things that we do. This will be an action-packed event, with live experiments, musical and dramatic performances, interactive demonstrations and much more. The event is suitable for children and adults alike, so come along with family and friends and get involved. There will also be the opportunity to ride a flight simulator, have a go on a Helter Skelter and have your face painted!
This is a free event and picnic areas will be available. Maps and wristbands will be handed out on arrival, with full details of the programme of activities.
