New Head of SEED announced

Following a rigorous interview process, Professor Martin Evans, Professor of Geomorphology in the Department of Geography, has been appointed to the role of Head of the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED). Martin will take up this post on 1 November 2017 for a period of five years.
Professor Tim Allott will continue in post until 31 October 2017. On making the announcement, Vice-President and Dean of Humanities, Professor Keith Brown, thanked Tim for everything he has achieved within the School and his contribution to the Faculty during the past three years.
