Post voluntary severance - PSS areas
Following the closure of the PSS Voluntary Severance Scheme, staff will be invited to discuss their application for voluntary severance (if applicable), redeployment opportunities and the next steps in the process, with their managers. In delivering the reduction in staff numbers in affected areas the University will be following the processes and procedures laid down in:
- Introducing Change to Organisational Structure
- Statute XIII, Part II – Redundancy – Academic and Academic-Related Staff
If we move to compulsory redundancy then the following will apply:
- Ordinance XXIII - Procedure for the dismissal of members of staff by reason of redundancy pursuant to Statute XIII, Part II
Managers in affected areas will be given the opportunity to meet with HR colleagues to better understand the process and discuss the next steps in more detail.
Minutes from the previous collective consultation meetings are available to view on StaffNet.
