Global inequalities beacon brochure out now
(17 August 2017)
Our research beacon for global inequalities now has its own dedicated print brochure which colleagues are invited to use at events or meetings with external stakeholders.
Caroline Boyd, Global Inequalities Campaign Manager, who is based in the Global Development Institute's communications team in the Arthur Lewis Building, oversaw the production of this 44 page brochure which features commentary, infographics, picture stories and words first-hand from some of the researchers across many of the Faculty of Humanities’ research institutes.
Caroline said, “In the recently approved strategy for this beacon we decided to shorten the official title of the beacon to ‘Global inequalities’ so it is more in line with other shorter research beacon titles.
“We also set an objective to raise our beacon’s reputation amongst non-governmental organisations (NGOs), policymakers, journalists and academic institutions. So this hard copy brochure has been created with plans for us to post it out as the first in-depth introduction to the beacon for existing and potential partners that fit these audience groups.”
If you have any names or addresses which you would like Caroline to add to the direct mail list to receive this brochure in early September, or if you would like some hard copies to share with people you meet, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- You can also view the brochure on the GDI website.
