The countdown to the Sustainability Challenge begins
(7 September 2017)
On Tuesday, 19 September, first-year undergraduate students from Humanities will join students from BMH and FSE to take part in the Sustainability Challenge.
Students will work against the clock in interdisciplinary groups to develop plans for a new campus, while global responses to climate change trigger a series of ‘game changing’ interventions.
The Sustainability Challenge is part of Stellify, and it is also the first step towards achieving the prestigious Manchester Leadership Award.

How you can help
We had a good turnout from the Faculty of Humanities last year with 51% of students taking part. This year the University has set a target of 70% attendance across all Schools. Your help would be appreciated in promoting the Sustainability Challenge to Humanities students.
Students will receive a personalised email telling them the time and location of their session in the days leading up to the challenge. You can find detailed information about the Sustainability Challenge and promotional material for use with your students on the Student Development and Community Engagement Division website.
