MIoIR celebrates its ten year anniversary
(19 October 2017)
This year the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and marking over 50 years of science and innovation policy and management studies at The University of Manchester. Its history, however, stretches back to the establishment the Liberal Studies in Science programme in 1966.
To celebrate Manchester’s contributions to the science and innovation studies community over the years, and to look forward to the future, on Friday 3 November 2017 MIoIR will be holding an anniversary gathering. Colleagues will be able to reflect on the past with alumni, key stakeholders, and academic friends and colleagues, and consider the challenges in the discipline over the coming years with friends and colleagues.
- The programme for the day is attached, and registration is open on Eventbrite.
You will be able to find out more about MIOIR, its work over the past ten years, and its plans for the future, in a ‘Spotlight On…’ feature next month.
