Brenda’s new hairdo – all in a great cause!
(30 November 2017)
Brenda Sanderson, the Faculty’s Appeals, Complaints and Malpractice Officer, has cut her very long hair. A big decision, but one that was made much easier by the thought of being able to donate her locks to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
As well as donating 15 inches of her hair, Brenda has also raised over £370 for the charity.
On her Just Giving page, Brenda says: "I'll never be that person that can run a marathon for charity, but cutting my hair, now that is an easy decision!
"I've been growing my hair over the last year for this cause. People can still donate if they wanted to!
"I aimed to raise £50, but that target was massively exceeded (thanks to generous donations)."
