From January 2018 a new version of TurningPoint/Responseware will be available for Humanities staff. Find out what’s new in TurningPoint Mobile on the teaching and learning pages.
The 2017-18 Teaching Online Workshop series is underway. In early December Dr Drew Whitworth, Director of Teaching and Learning Strategy at the Manchester Institute of Education, and Dr Gary Motteram, Senior Lecturer in Education in the School of Environment, Education and Development, shared their practice on successful online discussions. In January Dr Samuel Llano, Lecturer in Contemporary Spanish Cultural Studies in the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, will present his use of video for assessment. Finally, the CHERIL Conference CTRL + ALT + Educate: HE in the Digital Agewill take place on 30 January 2018 at the Barnes Wallis Building. The event is open to all staff who are interested in developing their teaching through the use of technology and for staff who are interested in learning more about CHERIL and the process of submitting a bid for funding for 2018.
