LGBT History Month
(26 January 2018)
LGBT History Month has been marked in the UK since 2005 and the University has held events every February since 2010.
The theme this year is ‘Geography: Mapping Our History’. There will be a variety of events covering different aspects of the LGBT Community. All events are free to attend and open to all University staff, students and visitors.
Among the many events, there will be an opportunity to attend a documentary screening, to hear stories from LGBT asylum seekers and refugees, and attend a special performance of ‘Borderland’ at the Martin Harris Centre.
- You can find out more about the events on the LGBT History Month at the University page.
