Online exams on the increase
Twenty summative online exams took place within Humanities in the first semester of academic year 2017-18. The number of online exams in semester one alone exceeds the number of online exams in each of the last two academic years. The largest majority of these exams consisted of multiple choice and short answer questions but also included a two-hour essay-type exam where students benefited from online feedback.
Colleagues interested in exploring online or optical marking recognition methods to deliver examinations can get in touch with the Humanities eLearning Team for a consultation.
