July 2014 showcase
The Faculty of Humanities held it's 8th Teaching and Learning Showcase on Tuesday 1st July 2014.
This extended Showcase was based around the theme of 'Student Engagement' and included a keynote speaker, Kate Little, who is the Student Engagement & Partnership Consultant at the NUS.
Lunch was also provided allowing more time for networking with colleagues and to visit the various information stalls by departments such as the Library, Media Services and the Careers Service.
In the afternoon there were a variety of sessions and workshops available for participants to attend, ranging from 30-minute presentations, multi-presentation "Quick-fire" seminars and 1-hour workshops.
The event was a great success with attendees commenting on how interesting, inspiring and informative the sessions were. It was organised by Humanities Teaching and Learning Support Services, working to facilitate the enhancement of teaching, learning, assessment and student support.
