The Faculty of Humanities held its 10th Teaching and Learning Showcase on Thursday 2 July 2015, 10.30am-3.30pm in Manchester Business School East. It was hosted by the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures and focussed on 'Using Multimedia to Enhance Teaching and Learning'. We welcomed Michael Wood (Professor of Public History, The University of Manchester)as the Keynote speaker at the event. There were a variety of sessions available for participants to attend, ranging from 30-minute presentations to 1-hour workshops, and opportunities for questions at the end of each session.

Lunch was provided for attendees with time provided to network with colleagues from across the Faculty. There were also a number of stalls providing information and demonstrations pertinent to teaching and learning in Humanities.

The event was organised by Humanities Teaching & Learning Support Services, working to facilitate the enhancement of teaching, learning, assessment and student support. Our staff were on hand across the event throughout the day to chat to you about toolkits and other resources available, guidance for new academics, policies and QA activity.
