FunDay

FunDay is a teambuilding event for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) and administration staff.

What is FunDay?

Originally initiated by Fafa, a PGR in the Manchester Institute of Education (MIE), and Harry, a PGR in Planning and Environmental Management (PEM), FunDay aims to:

create a sense of belonging to overcome the stress and loneliness that PhD writing can cause
promote the development of an inclusive society in an informal, fun and safe atmosphere
provide a platform for interaction, networking and rapport-building with students and staff from different backgrounds and cultures
strengthen students' general knowledge about the University, School and administration staff.
