Duration: 10 Months Full Time
Entry requirements:
Applicants for the Languags specialism must meet the minimum entry requirements for the PGCE Primary course (X100). Please see Primary Entry Requirements for further details. In addition applicants for the specialism should have a minimum of a good A-Level qualification or equivalent in your target language. In exceptional circumstances, trainees may be accepted to the programme without formal language qualifications. To assess your current language skills, consult the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages . Go to Page 24 where you will find the level descriptors - we normally seek the equivalent of a minimum B1.
Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2013, the tuition fees are as follows:
- PGCE (full-time)
UK/EU students (per annum): £9,000
International students (per annum): £13,000
The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration and computational costs during your studies.
All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry).
