There are funding opportunities available for candidates wishing to pursue a taught master's at one of the Schools in the Faculty of Humanities
Manchester Alumni Scholarship Scheme
If you are a current undergraduate at The University of Manchester, or you have graduated from the University within the past three years, you may be eligible for the Manchester Alumni Scholarship Scheme’. Eligible students studying taught master’s courses from September 2017 onwards will get a £3,000 reduction on fees paid directly to the University at the start of the course.
The Bursary is available to The University of Manchester graduates who:
- Achieved a first-class undergraduate degree in any subject (not just within the Faculty of Humanities)
- Are of any nationality / domicile (eligible to pay either home / EU or overseas fees)
- Are studying in any mode (full-time, part-time or distance-learning)
- Begin studying for a taught master’s in September 2017 onwards, and have graduated within three years prior to registering for study
You may be eligible to apply for other bursaries across the University; please contact the School in which your course will be based for further information. Please note that you will not normally receive the Manchester Alumni Scholarship Scheme should you be successful in applying for another University bursary.
