Presenting and Discussing Findings

There will be a difference between the presentation of findings in a dissertation based on empirical research and in a library-based dissertation. A library-based dissertation is very different from a dissertation based on empirical research in which a chapter presenting the results or findings is more readily identifiable.

The findings in a library-based dissertation are likely to be integrated into the discussion throughout the writing. This is sometimes evident from the Table of Contents.
