eLearning in Humanities

Developing and expanding the use of eLearning is very much part of the University's agenda as it moves towards 2015. eLearning offers tremendous flexibility and gives students another method of learning at their own pace and in an independent way. The Faculty of Humanities has been a leader within the University in its use of eLearning and it is important that we continue to build on these strong foundations.

Any discipline can benefit from delivering learning in this new and exciting way. See Support and Services for how the eLearning Team can advise on and help with the development of eLearning materials. The University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) from September 2008 is Blackboard.
