Last year, Manchester Business School's (MBS) Teaching Academy developed and launched a new mentoring scheme for teaching staff. The scheme, which is known as the Teaching Academy Network (TAcN), was established to provide advice and support to staff seeking to develop their teaching skills.

Anyone who teaches at MBS – all academic staff and graduate teaching assistants too – can make use of the TAcN.

Further details can be found in the February 2014 edition of Teaching and Learning News.

Benefits:

The main benefits of TAcN are in offering a source of confidential, one-to-one teaching guidance to staff, augmenting existing schemes such as the Faculty of Humanities New Academics Programme and the University's teaching peer review system.
