Blogs, wikis, journals, discussion boards, BbIM.. just a list of vaguely familiar terms and possibilities? If you would like to find out more about how, when and why you might use each of these collaborative tools in Bb9 to engage your students, this session draws out some of the distinctions between them with examples of how each can be used.

Pedagogy will be as important as technology: the focus is on learning objectives and outcomes (including transferable skills) and consideration will be given to the resource implications in trying to achieve these goals with different student group sizes.
