Flexible staff development activities and workshops to support staff develop the skills they need to make the most of Technology Enhanced Learning.

Scheduled workshops and drop-ins allow you to address your individual needs to get the most out of technology to support your teaching and learning. The eLearning team can also develop specific sessions to meet the needs of groups of staff using examples of blended learning from within the School/Faculty/University e.g.

  • presentations at away days
  • activities and sessions to support colleagues reviewing their teaching and learning for online delivery
  • Showcase sessions to demonstrate elearning developments
  • Blackboard Wrapping up and moving on sessions at the end of semester for specific discipline
  • Creating and uploading audio content for online delivery
  • ....

A scheduled session/event will usually be 1-2 hours long. Some events may be longer and some may have pre-event tasks. Information about the duration and any preparations will be available on the Events page

All you need to do to request some support is to contact the eLearning team by emailing elearning@manchester.ac.uk, please give us as much information as possible about what you would like to see, whether the support is just for you or for a group of colleagues.
