The Faculty has followed a bidding process, similar to that in previous years, to allocate its Teaching and Learning funds to support innovation in teaching, learning and student support.

A total of £15,000 was available for awards of up to £3,000 each to support projects that will enhance the student experience and impact key areas, namely:

  • Employability
  • Student engagement
  • Assessment and feedback (particularly on-line)
  • Curriculum design to embed eLearning
  • Managing large groups

Projects with eLearning elements funding will be linked to support from an eLearning technologist and attendance on a short programme of workshop / dissemination sessions.  A new strand of projects ‘Curriculum design to embed eLearning’ has been launched to support curriculum and programme teams rethinking their curriculum in light of new technologies using existing evidence based models.

The deadline for proposals to be received has been reached and successful applicants will be notified. A list of supported projects will be published here in due course. In the meantime, please contact Emma Rose (emma.rose@manchester.ac.uk) in the Faculty Teaching and Learning Office for information about the projects.
