Classics, Ancient History, Archaeology and Egyptology is home to a number of externally-funded projects advancing our discipline.
Some are based wholly in Manchester, some are collaborative ventures with colleagues based in other universities or organisations. The department is also closely involved with The John Rylands Research Institute and Library and in particular its project on the world-renowned Rylands Papryi.
