Exploitation, violence and abuse
Coordinated by Prof Dave Gadd; runs the Exploitation, Violence and Abuse (EVA) seminars.
This group studies populations with experiences of trauma and marginalisation, including survivors and people who cause harm.
The group is home to projects focused on supporting interventions to address stalking, sex offending, the exploitation of homeless people and experiences of sexual trauma, as well as studies designed to test the impact of new interventions, especially in the field of Violence Against Women and Girls. Its work seeks to understand the causes and consequences of violence and to inform policy and practice responses that reduce harm and promote equity.
