Patrycja Strycharczuk is a lecturer in Linguistics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Manchester. She obtained her PhD from the University of Manchester in 2012, and subsequently held research posts in the Laboratoire de Phonétique et Phonologie (Paris III) and in CASL (Clinical Audiology, Speech and Language) Research Centre, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Patrycja specialises in articulatory phonetics, especially tongue imaging techniques, and she works on integrating articulatory evidence into research on language variation and sound change.
