PGR exchange opportunities

We have established postgraduate researcher exchange programmes with a small number of institutions around the world.

These exchanges offer our research students an excellent opportunity to visit another institution, access research resources and experience the academic culture and professional networks of another institution/country.

To support PGRs in taking part in these exchanges, the Faculty is offering financial support to contribute to the associated costs.

The following are eligible for funding from the Faculty of Humanities Strategy Investment Fund:

  • Indiana University: College of Arts and Sciences
  • University of Copenhagen: Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Humanities
  • National University of Singapore: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

Who can apply?

To be eligible to apply for this fund, you must:

  • be a current registered postgraduate researcher at the Faculty of Humanities;
  • have successfully passed your first-year annual review by the time the placement/exchange/visit takes place;
  • not be in the last three months of your final year of study or be in your Submission Pending Period year;
